Dr. Woo, Sang Gyu
CTO
Dr. Woo serves as CTO with overall responsibility for research and development at Rivertree Bio. He received his Ph.D. from Korea University's Department of Biomedical Engineering, served as the director of the Central Research Institute of the Green Cross, the Central Vaccine Research Institute, and was the president of PPD, the predecessor of Rivertree Bio, for the development of in vitro diagnostic kits.
Mr. Shin, Hyung Joo
CEO
Mr. Shin serves as CEO of Rivertree Bio and represents the company. He graduated from Yonsei University, College of Arts and Letters, and has worked at Nuri Agency, an advertising agency firm, and founded and managed Bestlogix, a logistics company. He has worked in energy-related businesses in Indonesia and Malaysia, and was in charge of product planning and overseas sales at PPD.
Dr. Choi, Kyung Il
CMO
Dr. Choi is responsible for International Marketing at Rivertree Bio and is also the President of Pacific Global, Inc. Dr. Choi holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, and has worked at SK Corporation's Energy & Environment Research Institute and Korea's Agency for Defense Development.
Dr. Shin, Ho-Joon
Research Fellow Member
Dr. Shin is a professor in the Department of Microbiology at Ajou University Medical School, Director of the Center for Cooperative Research on Tropical and Emerging Diseases, and a Research Fellow Member at Rivertree Bio. He received his Ph.D. from Chungnam National University and did his postdoctoral training at the University of Tennessee, USA.
